UpDock Pro Beta

Download the UpDock Beta application. UpDock Beta program by invitation only.

UpDock requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later. The UpDock Pro app is signed and notarized by Apple and updated via the Sparkle framework.

Install UpDock Pro

Open the UpDock Downloads page, then follow these steps:

  1. Click Download UpDock Pro Beta.
  2. Find UpDock-Pro-latest.dmg in your Downloads folder and double-click it.
  3. Read the included UpDock Pro Read Me, then drag UpDock Pro.app onto the Applications shortcut.
  4. Open UpDock Pro from your Applications folder.
  5. Look for the UpDock icon, four small squares, in the menu bar.

  1. Open the UpDock Pro menu and choose Show UpDock Pro Settings….

Choose “Show UpDock Pro Settings…” to open the Settings window.
  1. Click Show UpDock Pro Status, then import the license file attached to license confirmation email. You may paste the license number and click Activate instead.

The UpDock Pro app and disk image are signed and notarized. A standard macOS first-launch confirmation may appear, but an unusual series of security warnings indicates that the app or disk image should be deleted and downloaded again from this page.

Import a Mini-Dock

  1. Select one or more Mini-Docks and click Download Selected. Multiple files arrive together in a timestamped ZIP archive.
  2. Open UpDock Settings and click Import in the first column.
  3. Select the downloaded Mini-Dock file or files and complete the import.

Mini-Dock importing is available in UpDock+ and UpDock Pro.

Use an AppleScript

These scripts control UpDock. Run them from the macOS Script menu, Script Editor, Script Debugger, or incorporate their commands into your own scripts.

UpDock Pro can also store and run compatible scripts as AppleScript Dock Items. Downloads marked Pro Only also control other applications and will not run from inside UpDock Pro; run them from a script menu or script editor instead.
